My name is Jeremiah Lindelof, and I am a fine art photographer from Belfast, Maine. I am currently 23 years of age and currently live with my fiancée in Augusta, Maine.

I have been interested in photography since I was fairly young, I didn't see my use of the medium as art; instead I snapped photos of the world around me with disposable cameras. However, upon seeing many of the beautiful images that have been produced through a lens, my new interest in photography as art led me to purchase my first digital camera when I was 14. The camera I chose was a nice 3MP Kodak, with a large 256MB SD card.

Soon after acquiring my first camera I took a photography class in high school, While I had a poor instructor, I still learned a bit about the more technical aspects of the trade. Around this time I discovered fine art nude photography, and it opened my mind to just how powerful of a tool a camera is. I loved how through this medium, an artist could destroy the socially conventional relationship between nudity and sex, and in it's place build an emotionally and intellectually engaging piece of work.

Although my interest in this genre began in high school, it wasn't until two and a half years after I graduated, in 2009, that I did my first nude shoot. My close friend from high school, Amy, agreed to model for me. Our first shoot saw some success, but my lack of quality equipment and lack of experience with the genre limited the result. I knew I needed a camera that allowed for better control, so I purchased a Sony a200 DSLR. Amy and I shot again a couple of months later, and to this day I still see several images from that shoot as some of my best work.

In the last three years, I have had the good fortune to work with several outstanding models; Amy, Clara, Amanda, Ericka, Sara, Beccah, Mary, Stacey, Alexis, Cara, among others in either the nude or expressive portrait genres. I am currently attending the University of Maine at Augusta, where I am studying photography. In the coming years, regardless of my eventual career choice, I will continue to create art and express the emotional and intriguing side of the human form and the world around me.
